Job summary

Blueprint Hires seeks a Structural Engineer for its Florida office to perform advanced structural analysis across steel, concrete, masonry and timber projects. You will design, analyze, and document structural systems, and support construction administration while ensuring code compliance and seismic design.

The role requires a PE license and proven ability to prepare calculations, detailing, and engineering reports. Experience testifying as an expert witness is a plus.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• In-depth knowledge of structural analysis, building codes, and seismic design.
• Experience in preparing structural calculations, detailing, and reports.
• Testifying as an expert witness in dispute resolution when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced structural analysis using ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM and RISA.
• Design and analyze structures including steel, concrete, masonry and timber systems.
• Prepare calculations, detailing and engineering reports.
• Support construction administration phase of projects.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and seismic design requirements.
