Job summary

GCM Grosvenor invites applications for a ten-week PE Summer Intern role in New York, focused on the Secondaries vertical. Interns work with the Investments team on live deals and projects, gaining exposure to senior management and Grosvenor values.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BA/BS with finance-related concentration, with coursework or internship in investments, and are on track to graduate in Dec 2027 or Spring 2028. Base salary range is disclosed for New York.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BA/BS with a Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Coursework or internship in investments/financial markets.
• On track to graduate Dec 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Experience with spreadsheets and financial databases helpful (Capital IQ, Preqin, Burgiss, DealCloud).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Interest and knowledge in the investment/alternative asset industry.
• Excellent work ethic and professionalism with a goal-oriented mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and conduct due diligence on private equity fund opportunities.
• Assist with investment recommendations and due diligence presentations to committees.
• Conduct industry research to support investment evaluation.
• Support client relationship management, reporting and portfolio management.
• Assist fundraising for private equity mandates and funds.
• Use Capital IQ, Preqin, Burgiss, DealCloud in due diligence and research.
• Support business intelligence projects as needed.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
