Qualifications

• Accredited Mechanical or Architectural Engineering degree.
• Active PE license.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical engineering with focus on HVAC and Plumbing.
• Strong skills in HVAC and Plumbing design, including load calculations, duct design, and equipment selection.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Healthcare and/or educational project experience desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative, team-oriented work style.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to determine design criteria, drawing sequences, system design presentations, sizing of system components, equipment selection, and layouts.
• Discuss design alternatives with clients and implement solutions with designers.
• Convey complex engineering concepts effectively to project team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Ensure all designs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements; conduct thorough reviews.
• Incorporate innovative and sustainable practices to enhance efficiency and environmental performance.
