AuraOne is seeking a remote Japanese specialist to evaluate model outputs for fluency, register, and cultural context. You will compare paired annotations, write concise rationales, and flag issues using task-specific severity tags.

This independent contractor role offers flexible hours, up to 10+ hours weekly, and a pay rate of $34 per hour. Prior experience in model evaluation or annotating Japanese content is a plus, with strong written English.

• Native or near-native Japanese fluency with strong written-English ability.
• Demonstrable experience editing, translating, or evaluating Japanese content.
• Comfort applying multi-page rubrics consistently across long evaluation batches.
• Clear written reasoning that names the issue and the standard being applied.
• Reliable async availability for at least 10 hours per week.
• Prior model-evaluation, annotation, or human-rater experience is a plus.
