Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for a 14-week PCU assignment in Omaha, NE. This fast-paced unit cares for adults and geriatric patients, with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and EEG monitoring.

Responsibilities include titrating drips, charting in EPIC, and collaborating with the charge nurse. There may be floating to other floors; on-call is not required, and onboarding starts with orientation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of RN experience preferred in a PCU/stepdown setting.
• Active RN license required and valid BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass orientation exam with 90%+ on open-book assessment.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced PCU.
• Titrate drips (e.g., Cardizem, beta-blockers, seizure meds) as ordered.
• Document care in EPIC and collaborate with the charge nurse.
• Floating to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed; weekend rotations.
