Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced PCU RN for per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, VA. You can pick up shifts that fit your life, with options for daily or weekly pay and a flexible calendar.

As a PCU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in acute-care settings, monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and document care in the EMR while collaborating with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in Virginia with 2+ years of PCU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• TB test within past 12 months and vaccination status.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in PCU.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
• Administer meds and IV therapies per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and infection control.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
