Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 9-week PCU assignment in Louisville, KY. Shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with a 36-hour guarantee.

The RN will assess, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans, supervise staff, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives. Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience is required, with a Diploma or Associate degree and RN licensure. Responsibilities

• 20%-Assessment Performs assessments & reassessments per policy & procedure or as warranted by patient condition: demonstrates ability to make sound independent decisions.
• 20%-Development & implementation Initiates, prioritizes and implements the plan of care and reviews and revises the plan as indicated.
• Collaborates with patient/family & interdisciplinary services; utilizes resources appropriately to support the needs of the organization/ patent/family.
• 15%-Evaluation Monitors and documents response to clinical interventions
• 25%-Education Facilitates/coordinates/provides/evaluates education specific to patient/family needs and as appropriate to the care, treatment and services provided during their stay and at discharge.
• 20%-Leadership Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel: functions as a mentor/preceptor; demonstrates/encourages/facilitates teamwork; identifies and appropriately communicates opportunities for improvement, participates in quality, safety and service process improvement efforts and implements practice changes: complies with regulatory standards: participates in the Practice Governance model
