Job summary

Health Here seeks a PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an acute-care hospital setting. You will assess and document patient conditions, monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications and collaborate with care teams across units.

The ideal candidate holds an active Virginia RN license, has 2+ years of PCU experience, current BLS/ACLS, and is prepared for facility-specific credentials and vaccination requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required in Virginia.
• Minimum of 2 years PCU experience within the last 4 years.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test within 12 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• Additional facility-specific credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Follow infection-control and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments.
