First Choice Nurses is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts across Virginia. Shifts run 7a–7p and 7p–7a, with the freedom to pick the hours that fit your life. You will provide high-quality acute-care nursing and choose a schedule that works for you.

Responsibilities include patient assessment and monitoring, administering meds, EMR documentation, teamwork with physicians, and adherence to infection-control standards. Ready to pick up your next shift?

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license.
• BLS and ACLS current.
• QuantiFERON-TB Gold test current.
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.
• 2 years PCU nursing experience in last 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions.
• Monitoring cardiac rhythms and patient status changes.
• Administering medications and IV therapies.
• Collaborating with physicians and care teams.
• Maintaining EMR accuracy and timeliness.
• Following infection-control and patient-safety standards.
• Educating patients and families on care and discharge plans.
• Adapting to different hospital units and environments.
