Job summary

AdventHealth Davenport is seeking a Registered Nurse in Florida to provide comprehensive patient care in a high-acuity setting. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, evidence-based outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse license required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Document patient care activities, including assessments and outcomes, in the EMR accurately and timely.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Job Description

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies and safety protocols.
  • Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.
