Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH is hiring a Progressive Care Registered Nurse for the PCU to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical staff. You will provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care, advocate for patients, and help ensure an unparalleled patient experience.

You will assess, document, and administer medications while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS/CPR required for ongoing practice.
• RN license/certification required.
• Associate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical care.
