AURA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) to provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced medical support. The role partners with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective care and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering medications, coordinating with physicians and therapy staff, and educating patients and families on care plans.

Formación

• Current RN licensure.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient monitoring skills.
• Ability to manage acuity and prioritize care.
• Effective communication and teamwork.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and treatment responses.
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions according to established standards.
• Coordinate care with physicians, respiratory/therapy staff, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Identify changes in patient status and elevate concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient progress.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
• Follow safety, infection control, and clinical protocol requirements.
