Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a part-time night position. The Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, including bathing, hygiene, toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration, as well as assistance with ambulation and positioning.

They support patient safety and satisfaction by conducting regular patient rounds and effective communication with the care team.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Certification as Nurse Assistant (KS) required.
• Direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient cares such as bathing, hygiene, toileting, nutrition, feeding and hydration.
• Assist with ambulation and positioning and rounds.
