Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support Registered Nurses with hands-on patient care, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients.

Qualified candidates will be a North Carolina-licensed CNA with BLS, demonstrate strong teamwork and communication, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered care team. A sign-on bonus is offered for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• North Carolina CNA certification required.
• BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Maintain clean, organized patient areas and supply carts.
• Support infection control through proper equipment handling and logs.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and care team.
