Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a PCS Scrubber Engineer to operate and maintain contamination abatement equipment in the Fab, bridging engineering, process control and quality assurance.

You will monitor performance, lead Kaizen-driven improvements, develop SOPs, coordinate with fabrication and maintenance teams, and ensure compliance with OSHA/ISO/EPA standards while contributing to cost-effective, reliable cleanroom operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field.
• Experience in semiconductor fab or cleanroom environment.
• Experience with abatement/particle control equipment preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize abatement solutions for fabs or upgrades.
• Translate process requirements into equipment specs.
• Perform hazard analyses and risk assessments.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning plans.
• Develop PM schedules and troubleshoot equipment.
• Write SOPs and maintain QA documentation.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams.
• Manage budget and cost control for projects.
