DAPR Systems Analyst III - V:
This Systems Analyst will be part of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Office of Data and Systems Improvement (ODSI). The position will act as a systems analyst in the Data and Performance Reporting Division, specifically for the Unit responsible for Purchased Client Services (PCS) Reporting. DAPR works to build a preeminent system for reporting on the protection of children and vulnerable adults from abuse, neglect, and exploitation by partnering with DFPS leadership to provide data to inform decision‑making at the highest levels of the agency as well as for our community partners, legislative oversight entities, and the general public.
The DAPR Division is responsible for provision of agency statistical data including Legislative Budget Board performance measures, operating budget, legislative appropriation request, agency Online Data Book, various routine and ad hoc management reports, data requested by the legislature and other public officials, and data reported to the federal government. The division also provides data requested by the media and public via the Public Information Act (open records) as well as data related to both state and internal audits, grants, studies, and data sharing projects with other public interests. The division is responsible for conducting quality assurance review of any data to be released outside the agency to ensure validity and consistency of reported data. The division also is responsible for development of data warehouse online reports and the supporting specialized tables and/or elements.
This position may be filled as a Systems Analyst III, IV, or V with a career ladder option for future promotions.
