Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, Florida seeks a qualified trainer for clinical staff development. The role involves conducting center inspections, leading nursing and lab education, and driving quality control across sites.

You will train staff, manage corrective actions, and participate in root-cause analyses while traveling as needed to open new centers and certify personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferred in healthcare.
• 2+ years experience in clinical setting.
• 2+ years teaching experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Licenses: LPN/RT-Certifications or CMA/CMAC/RMA etc. required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly center inspections including nursing visits, diagnostic, pharmacy and engineering monitoring.
• Track corrective actions related to inspections.
• Perform new hire training, post-training assessments and ongoing clinical in-service education.
• Participate in root-cause analysis exercises for Origami events.
• Perform quality control reporting and review laboratory quality control.
• Assist with new center openings including travel to multiple states.

Job Description:

• Conducts monthly center inspections, including nursing visits, diagnostic, pharmacy inspections, and engineering and work practice monitoring.
• Tracks corrective actions related to inspections.
• Performs new hire training, post-training assessments, and assists with ongoing clinical in-service education and remediation.
• Participates in root-cause analysis exercises related to Origami events.
• Performs quality control reporting, reviews laboratory quality control and documents corrective actions.
• Assists with new center openings, including setting up clinics and traveling to multiple states as needed.
• Maintains effective communication with clinical staff and center managers.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to applicable equipment.
• Completes special assignments to ensure smooth department operations, including in-state and out-of-state travel.
• Serves as BAT/DUA instructor and responsible for certifying all clinical staff as well as recertifications every 5 years
• Performs other duties as assigned.
