Job summary

Methodist Children’s Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an RN II PCICU to advocate for patients and families, apply the nursing process, and collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, high-quality care in the PCICU.

Qualifications include RN licensure, ADN/BSN/RN diploma, BLS and PALS within specified timelines, and at least 6 months of RN acute care experience. The role offers comprehensive benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 30 days of employment.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse licensure is required.
• Education: Associate or Bachelors degree or RN diploma.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe nursing care in the PCICU using the nursing process and critical thinking.
• Advocate for patients and families and collaborate with the care team.
• Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and professional behavior per policy.
• Follow Texas Nurse Practice Act and hospital procedures.
