Job summary

Absolute EMS is seeking a Quote Coordinator in Santa Clara, CA to prepare accurate quotations for PCBA manufacturing. You will coordinate between Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing to ensure all technical and commercial requirements are included in each quote.

The role requires 3–7 years in electronics manufacturing or related fields, strong Excel and cost modeling skills, and the ability to manage multiple quotes with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, PCBA, EMS, quoting, purchasing, or program coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing documentation, and customer specifications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and cost models; ability to manage multiple quotations and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete customer quotations for new products, repeat builds, and engineering changes.
• Review RFQs to identify technical, material, manufacturing, testing, quality and documentation requirements.
• Review BOMs, drawings, Gerber files, pick-and-place files, assembly instructions, and AVL/AML requirements.
• Coordinate quoting activities with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
• Obtain and analyze supplier quotations for components, PCB fabrication, and other services.
• Identify long lead-time components, minimum order quantities, and supply risks.
• Estimate costs related to materials, PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, testing, tooling, and documentation.
• Document quote assumptions, risks, supplier pricing, and cost models.
• Ensure quotations are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
