Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Associated degree in Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
• MS in Engineering with minimum five years experience in contract manufacturing is a strong plus.
• Proficient in CAD/AutoCAD and SolidWorks; familiar with MS Office and Silicon Expert.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and optimize PCBA manufacturing processes from inception to startup and certification.
• Provide training and recommendations for process updates.
• Support PCBA processes including wave, selective soldering and hand soldering; evaluate water soluble and lead-free chemistries.
• Lead continuous improvement projects for defect reduction, cost-saving and corrective actions.
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions for soldering processes.
