Job Title: PCBA EngineerJob Description

The PCBA Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and performing repairs in conjunction with maintenance, as well as creating programs and documentation for all Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and/or Post-SMT equipment. The engineer will continuously monitor all equipment to ensure efficient operations and complete assigned tasks effectively.

• Monitor equipment performance to ensure efficient operation.

• Collaborate with maintenance teams for effective repairs.

• Support plant operations and active projects.

Essential Skills

• Experience in Printed Circuit Board Assembly.

• Proficiency in Surface Mount Technology.

• Knowledge in circuit board layout and assembly.

• Soldering expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of consumables in the PCBA process such as solder paste, solder wire, flux, chip bonder, and cleaning agents.

Work Environment

The work is performed in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility, which includes both production floor exposure and cubicle office space. The engineer will regularly support operations on the plant floor while also having access to a dedicated workspace for project and process-related tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holly, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $48.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
