Job summary

Adecco is hiring a PCB Test Technician in Nampa, Idaho to support electronic testing, troubleshooting, and quality verification for a growing electronics manufacturer.

Responsibilities include configuring test equipment, performing functional and electrical tests, diagnosing failures to board level, and documenting results to ensure products meet customer specifications. A technical electronics background and relevant IPC certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electronics testing, troubleshooting, or repair experience.
• Ability to read schematics, technical drawings and engineering docs.
• IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620 and/or J-STD-001 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure test equipment per engineering instructions and docs.
• Perform functional, electrical, and performance testing on boards and assemblies.
• Troubleshoot failures to component, assembly, or board level.
• Repair or replace power connections and modules to support testing.
• Operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, megger, and other test gear.
• Conduct checks to verify products meet customer specs before shipment.
• Develop and execute testing procedures, including ICT and flying probe tests.
• Collaborate with engineers and production to identify root causes and improve quality.
• Document test results and maintain quality records.
