Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Engineer, PCB (Starlink), to identify and mitigate asset reliability risks across manufacturing and plant operations. You will drive maintenance plans, improve equipment effectiveness, and support production with technical solutions.

The role requires collaborating with project engineering, developing asset documentation, and applying value analysis to optimize repair and replacement decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 1+ years in an engineering role in manufacturing, integration, reliability, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Work with project engineering to ensure reliability of new installations.
• Maintain consistency and maintainability of critical equipment and controls.
• Own asset improvement plans for preventative maintenance and asset performance.
• Design and refine a comprehensive asset maintenance plan including predictive methods.
• Prepare asset documentation for reviews of mechanical design, controls, and software.
• Develop solutions to repetitive failures affecting plant operations (capacity, cost, quality).
• Analyze asset utilization, overall equipment effectiveness, remaining useful life, and operating costs.
• Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and technicians.
• Manage production requests for asset improvements and data collection.
• Apply value analysis to repair/replace and buy vs. make decisions.
