Circuit Board Medics is hiring a Product Development Specialist in Greenville, SC. This role drives product identification, testing, sourcing, and cross‑functional collaboration to bring new products to market and integrate them into our remanufacturing workflow.

You will partner with engineering, purchasing, and production teams to ensure quality and timely launches while supporting customers with technical expertise. CBM emphasizes care and ownership.

Qualifications

• 2 years or more of product development experience or electronics repair experience, or a B.S. in electrical engineering or other engineering field.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and systems.
• Methodical problem solving skills.
• Natural curiosity and desire to learn.
• Eagerness to grow and develop others and themselves.
• Desire to serve others.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Product Identification and Prioritization: identify growth opportunities and demand for products within current markets.
• Reverse Engineering and Testing: determine failure modes of potential products through PCB troubleshooting and create clear work instructions.
• Materials and Component Sourcing: identify needs for component replacement and source compatible parts.
• Process Optimization: collaborate with operations and process engineering to optimize remanufacturing processes.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with marketing, sales, and customer support to align development with market needs.
