Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Equipment Reliability Engineer for PCB maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize asset uptime across Starlink facilities. You will drive reliability improvements, lead maintenance planning, and provide deep technical support to production and maintenance teams.

Ideal candidates will have an engineering degree, experience in manufacturing reliability, and familiarity with CMMS like Maximo, SAP, or Infor. CRE/CMRP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, systems, or manufacturing engineering.
• 1+ years of experience in an engineering role in manufacturing, reliability, or operations.
• CRE or CMRP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with project engineering to ensure reliability and sustainability of new and modified installations.
• Guide efforts to ensure consistency and maintainability of critical equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.
• Own equipment improvement plans for preventative maintenance strategies and asset effectiveness.
• Define and refine asset maintenance plans including value-added preventive tasks and non-destructive testing methodologies.
• Prepare asset documentation for review of system mechanical design, controls, and software.
• Develop solutions to repetitive failures and device-specific problems affecting plant operations.
• Analyze assets for utilization, OEE, remaining life, and operational costs.
• Provide technical support to production, maintenance management, and technicians.
• Manage production requests for asset improvements and data collection.
• Apply value analysis to repair/replace and make/buy decisions.
