Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Detroit, Michigan is seeking a PCB eCAD Engineer responsible for owning PCB eCAD design activities, interfacing with customers and cross-functional teams, and delivering final boards.

The role requires hands-on experience with Siemens Xpedition Layout and DxDesigner VX, EDM flow, high-speed routing, and RF/mixed-signal design, plus strong English communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or AS/AA and 8–10 years related experience.
• Good communication skills in English, ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience in PCB eCAD design using Siemens Xpedition Layout and DxDesigner VX (Mandatory).
• Knowledge in PCB eCAD & Library using EDM flow.

Job description

• PCB eCAD Engineer should be able to take complete ownership of PCB eCAD design activities, customer/ team interaction and Final Delivery.
• Experience in PCB ECAD design using Siemens Xpedition Layout and DxDesigner VX (Mandatory)
• Knowledge in PCB eCAD & Library using EDM flow.
• Experience in Constraints editor System, Fablink (Panelisation), Variant manager, Drawing Editor
• Strong Design knowledge from schematics to Gerber.
• Experience in Digital, Analog & Mixed signal designs.
• Knowledge on Routing High speed PCB, Power plane, Creepages and clearance, length matching
• Knowledge on High-speed interfaces such (SATA, DDR4, DDR5, USB, Ethernet, PCIe, PMIC etc)
• Knowledge on RF boards
• Good knowledge in Industry standards and manufacturing.
• Documentation and Gerber release.
