Job summary

Affordable Family Care Services - Raleigh seeks dedicated Personal Care Aides to support seniors and individuals with disabilities at home. You will assist with grooming, hygiene and daily activities while monitoring clients’ wellbeing.

Responsibilities include checking vital signs, basic health care tasks, light housekeeping, meal prep and arranging transportation as needed. A valid driver’s license, TB test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Current TB test or documentation required.
• Must pass a background and drug check and be E-Verify eligible.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and daily tasks.
• Perform basic health care tasks incl. checking vital signs or meds administration.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Arrange or provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Collect information on conditions and treatments from caregivers and family.
• Observe and report on each client’s condition to supervisors.
