Job summary

Caring Professionals Homecare, LLC is seeking a compassionate PCA/Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct care to individuals with disabilities in Minnesota. You will assist with ADLs, support Spanish-speaking clients, and work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Includes orientation and required DHS trainings. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred; ability to stand, walk, and assist with transfers; maintain documentation and log hours via E-VV app.

• Have not been excluded from participating in Federal or State Healthcare Programs
• Ability to complete Orientation and Positive Support Rule Training online or a combination of in-person and online
• Required Vulnerable Adult Training through the Department of Human Services
• Required PCA and CFSS Certificate through the Department of Human Services
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop down to clean and to care for individuals served-Must be able to exert up to 40 pounds of force to move objects
• An open mind and a caring demeanor

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in a respectful and compassionate manner
• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as transferring, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist individuals with tasks including laundry, cleaning around the house, and preparing meals
• Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans as established by the care team
• Accompany and drive individuals to appointments, community activities, and run errands
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
• Ability to use the Electronic Verification Visit App to log hours and services

Do you have the heart to serve? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PCA/Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team. As a PCA, you will be assisting individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs). As a DSP, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities in accordance with the 245D regulations. This position serves Spanish-speaking clients and families. Fluency in Spanish is required to communicate effectively with clients.

Expected hours: 15-40 hours per week

Expected schedule: Flexible Monday-Sunday hours (mornings, afternoons, and evenings)
