Job summary

Aba-Homecare in Stockbridge, GA is seeking an experienced Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily living support for medically fragile adults at home. The role includes personal care, meal prep, and companionship, with online and onsite training provided.

Overnight shifts 10pm–8am, 3–4 days per week, with every other weekend and premium pay. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Georgia driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid Georgia driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Vaccination against Flu, Covid, Tetanus/Tdap and Hepatitis B or proof of immunity.
• Experience with personal care support or training; GACCP competency exam.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Maturity and the ability to deal effectively with job demands.
• Knowledge of caregiving practices with a sympathetic attitude.
• Reliable, flexible with time and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to clients in their home.
• Assist with ADLs including housekeeping, bathing, grooming, toileting, hair washing, and personal hygiene and companionship.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions, assist with eating as necessary.
• Turning and positioning of the client.
• Transfer and ambulation assistance.
• Dressing or undressing the client.
• Drive with/without family/client to appointments or outings as necessary.
• Offer care giving services with empathy and respect.
• Appropriate reporting of changes in client status.
• Ability to work with Pediatric and Adult population.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced compassionate Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistantto provide essential daily living assistance to medically fragile adults in their home. The ideal candidate will assistclients with personal care, meal preparation, and daily activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. We provide online and onsite training.

This position supports our client AWAKE overnight -10pm - 8am 3-4 days a week, includes every other weekend. Premium pay.

Duties, include but not limited to

• Assist individuals with ADL's including, House keeping, Bathing, Grooming, Toileting, Hair washing, and personal hygiene and companionship.
