St. Daniel’s Companions in Connecticut is hiring a caregiver to provide personal care and companionship in the client’s home. The role offers flexible schedules, bi-weekly direct deposit, and competitive pay.

Responsibilities include daily living support, meal prep, reminders for medications, light housekeeping, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for the client in Wethersfield, CT. Prior caregiving experience is preferred and travel to client locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid ID and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Must pass background checks and reference verification.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to the client.
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed.
• Medication reminders (no medication administration unless licensed).
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Monitor client’s physical and emotional condition and report any changes.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
