Job summary

WENCOR in Florida is seeking an PC Assembler II to support entry level to semiskilled electronic assembly in a production environment. You will prepare boards, assemble and inspect components, and learn to perform multiple assembly tasks with minimal supervision.

In this role, you will read drawings and specifications, follow standardized processes, and maintain a safe, clean workspace while contributing to quality products for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings or blueprints.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets drawings, specifications or written instructions.
• Performs assembly steps, with little or no assistance to, PC board assembly & soldering, mechanical assembly & inspection
• Prepares boards to be assembled by studying work instructions, procedures, blueprint specifications, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Recognizes subtle functional problems, defective parts or other abnormalities.
• Completes adjustments or replacements of component parts.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Assembles and inspects assemblies under magnification in accordance with standardized processes, procedures and methods.

• Assembles and inspects assemblies under magnification in accordance with standardized processes, procedures and methods.
• Perform assembly steps, with little or no assistance to, PC board assembly & soldering, mechanical assembly & inspection
• Completes adjustments or replacements of component parts.
• Reads and interprets drawings, specifications or written instructions.
• Recognizes subtle functional problems, defective parts or other abnormalities.
• Handles various types of assemblies and must be able to learn to perform any new assembly task.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
