LKQ Corporation is seeking a technically minded, customer-focused professional to provide expert support, training, and demonstrations for PB&E products in the Kentucky region. You will help drive sales growth and improve customer retention through hands-on product knowledge and responsive service.

The role emphasizes diagnosing product issues, performing line trials, and ensuring high-quality customer outputs with strong safety and training emphasis.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED plus 5+ years in automotive, aeronautical, heavy-duty truck, or industrial paint processes.
• Familiarity with PBE products and color-matching capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers at the account level to drive sales growth and customer retention.
• Demonstrate products and processes through training and line trials.
• Resolve product failures and identify systemic causes for process improvements.
• Support color issue resolution with key accounts and assist in sales of new accounts.

Responsible for providing technical support at the customer level, primarily supporting the sales growth and customer retention efforts of our PB&E sales organization with a high-quality customer focus. Assisting customers with product training and demonstration of new products and processes.

Essential Job Duties

• Ensure that proper use of Health, Safety and Equipment practices are adhered to during work hours.
• Perform product demonstration and line trials to prospective and existing customers.
• Perform in-shop product training for new and existing accounts as required.
• Resolution of product failures\problems.
• Will identify the systemic cause and provide a system or process solution to eliminate reoccurrence.
• Support resolution of color issues with key accounts.
• Support sales and installation of new accounts.
• Provide technical review of the repair process focused on product-related matters.
• The objective is to ensure the proper use of the products we sell and to enhance customer output.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED 5+ years of related experience in automotive, aeronautical, heavy-duty truck, or industrial paint processes.
• Knowledge of associated and allied PBE products.

Preferred Requirements

• Some college coursework desired.
• 5+ years of automotive refinishing experience.
• Willingness to Complete paint manufacturers' training in paint products and application.
• Strong color-matching abilities.
• I car certifications.

Abilities and Skills

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
• Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.
• Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
• Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
• May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.
• Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
• Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area.
• Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

• Work is primarily active moving from location to location and sometimes standing, squatting, and working in a shop setting.
• Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse, mobile phone and CRM.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
