Job summary

The Integration Group in Pontoon Beach, IL is seeking an Advanced Warehouse Handling Equipment Operator to load, unload, and move goods using MHE such as forklifts and turret equipment, ensuring safe, efficient handling of products from trucks to staging areas.

In this role you will perform routine maintenance checks, assist in order picking and shipping, and help with inventory counts while maintaining a clean, organized dock and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year forklift experience.
• Multidirectional MHE experience preferred.
• 1 year experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, safe environment.
• Experience with computers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE safely following company protocols.
• Inspect machinery and perform regular maintenance.
• Load/unload materials from vehicles and move them to storage.
• Daily order picking and fulfillment.
• Locate and move stock to pallets or crates.
• Identify damages and report shortages.

The Advanced Warehouse Handling Equipment Operator is responsible for operating Multi-directional Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to efficiently and safely load and unload product form trucks, and to use other MHE to safely and efficiently move products within the warehouse. When there is no product to be moved, this position will help in other areas such as hand unloading products from trucks and picking products for orders.

General Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate Multi-directional MHE safely by following all the protocols set forth by the company.
• Operate other MHE safely by following all the protocols set forth by the company.
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
• Load and Unload materials from incoming vehicles, move, and stack them in assigned places utilizing a forklift, turret, and other warehouse equipment.
• Daily order picking and fulfillment from customer orders provided by the TIG warehouse logistics coordinator and supervisor.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Assist in other warehouse-related tasks such as picking orders accurately, packaging products, restocking products, and areas of receiving and shipping.
• Load freight shipments manually and with warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks as needed.
• Weigh and shrink-wrap outgoing pallets as required.
• Performs general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of the dock and inventory areas.
• Provide general warehouse support as needed, such as organizing products, and maintaining clean and safe work areas.
• Conduct inventory counts as requested.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least one year forklift experience.
• Multi-directional MHE experience is preferred.
• At least one year experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Experience and competence with computers, RF scanner experience preferred.
