Job summary

BGE, Inc in the United States is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our Corporate Accounting team. You will coordinate with the Payroll Administrator and Manager to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and respond to employee inquiries.

The role requires 3–5 years of payroll experience, familiarity with UKG Pro, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You must be able to commute to Frisco, TX, and maintain confidentiality while delivering reliable payroll services.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of demonstrated payroll experience.
• FPC preferred or actively pursuing certification.
• Experience with UKG Pro required or preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to commute to Frisco, TX.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for weekly review of timesheets to ensure overtime is entered correctly and policy usage noted.
• Assist employees with questions related to timesheet entry.
• Review weekly reports for processing of timesheets in preparation for payroll processing.
• Process payroll data including new hires, changes in status, title, schedule, pay rate changes and PTO accruals.
• Perform biweekly audit of payroll.
• Respond to employee requests for copies of W-2s and paystubs.
• Process employment verification requests.
• Assist Payroll Administrator and Payroll Manager with additional tasks as needed.
