The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for the District's 500+ staff members. The Payroll Specialist remits all payroll taxes and withholdings to the appropriate agencies, prepares all quarterly and annual payroll tax returns, and prepares W-2 forms for staff at year-end. The Specialist also oversees worker's compensation claims, unemployment claims, and Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS) matters.
