Monday–Friday: 7:00AM–3:30PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance by reconciling payroll data in a timely manner. The Payroll Specialist must be detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Calculate salaries, deductions, and benefits, and process new hires and terminations.
  • Keep employee data, wage information, and tax documents accurate and organized.
  • Prepare payroll reports, including income tax returns.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll questions.
  • Ensure payroll complies with tax regulations, labor laws, and company policies.
  • Review payroll data and documents for errors and inefficiencies.
  • Process and issue W-2 forms to employees.
  • Enter garnishments and respond to garnishment notices.
  • Maintain employee confidentiality.
  • Perform other functions assigned by management, as needed.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED certificate
  • 2+ years’ experience in an accounting-related position
  • Able to communicate and work with cross-functional managers/supervisors
  • Knowledge of accounting and payroll
  • Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Quickbooks online (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Note: There may be an initial DOT drug test and random DOT drug and alcohol test.
