Schweiger is a leading dermatology practice with a diverse, nationwide footprint. We seek a Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing across biweekly and monthly cycles, respond to inquiries promptly, and support year-end processes.

This remote role allows candidates in NY, NJ, PA, CT, FL, IL, MO, MN, and CA to contribute to our employee experience. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of payroll experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of payroll experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administers processing of organization’s payroll and collects payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Handles processing of employee, timesheet, benefits, and other payroll information in the payroll system.
  • Assists in proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
  • Collaborates with Senior Payroll Manager on accurate and timely processing of payroll paperwork.
  • Issues manual or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll error.
  • Manages the payroll email inbox and responds to payroll inquiries within 24-48 hours.
  • Supports Senior Payroll Manager with biweekly, monthly, off-cycle, quarter-end, and year-end payroll processing.
  • Prepares payroll reports for senior management or auditing purposes.
