Job Summary:
The Payroll Processing Associate will work with *** systems, such as processing manual check requests and communicating with internal and external contacts to ensure employees are paid correctly. This position requires working some weekends and holidays. Hours of work are likely to change depending on the needs of the business.

Job Duties:

  1. Training on the *** systems will be provided.
  2. Candidate must be able to work with payroll data and maintain confidentiality while working in a team environment.
  3. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  4. Candidate must have strong analytical skills to comprehend statements written by different management employees regarding payroll issues.
  5. Proficiency with the use of 10-key calculator skills and typing skills with minimal errors.
  6. This position requires working some weekends and holidays; notice will be provided to the worker in advance.
  7. Scheduled hours may vary based on business needs and are subject to working overtime.
  8. High energy, aptitude for learning, great dependability, and a positive attitude are key desired attributes.
  9. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, urgent environment.
  10. Will be working with non-union and union wage plans; training will be provided.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Basic Level Required - MS Office Excel and Access (primarily data entry).
  2. Payroll experience preferred but not required.
  3. Candidate must be flexible to work outside the scheduled shift as needed.

Additional Job Details:
Candidate must be able to work with payroll data, possess good math skills, and maintain confidentiality while working in a team environment. Key item is that they do not have to have payroll experience if they have done something similar and can prove that they can learn. Candidate must have good typing speed (40+ wpm) and 10-key calculator skills. This position requires hard-working, energetic team players. Additionally, this position will involve auditing.

General Schedule: Mon-Fri between 7:00am - 5:30pm to start but is subject to change based on business needs. Schedule will vary based on the day.
