Job summary

IPL Schoeller in the United States is seeking a Payroll Manager - North America to lead payroll operations across multiple sites and jurisdictions. You will drive accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement, partnering with HR, Finance, IT, and vendors to optimize data and service delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of progressive payroll leadership, experience with ADP/Workday/SAP/Oracle, and CPP/FPC/CIPP/IPASS or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll leadership experience.
• Experience managing multi-site and/or international payroll operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax, and compliance requirements.
• Proven success leading payroll system implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
• Experience with ADP, Workday, SAP, or Oracle.

• Oversee audits, reporting, and year-end payroll activities.

• Analyze payroll data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed payroll team.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of progressive payroll leadership experience.

• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax, and compliance requirements.
• Proven success leading payroll system implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
• Experience working with payroll and HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel and payroll reporting capabilities.
• Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional payroll certification (CPP, FPC, CIPP, IPASS, or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in a shared services or global business services environment is a plus.
