Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Payroll Clerk to support community payroll operations under the supervision of the Payroll/HR Regional Consultant. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with seniors and at least two years payroll experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings.

You will manage payroll duties, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years payroll experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll guidelines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organization, time management and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out community payroll operations in accordance with policies and laws.
• Handle payroll data including compensation, employment status and benefits.
• Maintain accurate records and confidentiality of information.
• Collaborate with Payroll/HR Regional Consultant.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Payroll Clerk, you are responsible for carrying out community payroll operations in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable state and federal laws, and under the supervision of the Payroll/HR Regional Consultant. This role is also responsible for general payroll duties not limited to compensation, employment status, and employee benefits.

• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Minimum of two years of prior payroll experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations
• Must possess strong personal organization and time management with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook required
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting, payroll best practices, and payroll application systems
• Must possess a strong work ethic and be a team player
• Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material required
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
