Job summary

CLA is seeking a Payroll Director in Orlando, FL to lead the Outsourcing team and provide technical guidance for clients and internal staff.

You will oversee payroll processing, tax management, and workflow efficiency while coaching analysts and driving projects from setup to client conversions. A Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of payroll experience are required; leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant payroll experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; combination of experience and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• PHR, SPHR or CPP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing and supervise Payroll Analyst I & II.
• Manage state payroll tax registrations and quarterly tax filings.
• Develop policies to ensure high-quality client experiences and efficient processes.
• Lead client engagements, invoicing, and project management for new client setups and conversions.
