Job summary

Nira Medical in the United States is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to oversee payroll operations, tax compliance, and benefits administration. You will work with Finance teams and benefits providers to ensure accurate payroll, timely filings, and smooth open enrollment, leveraging Rippling or a comparable system to resolve issues and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 3–5 years of payroll, payroll tax, or benefits experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and benefits administration.
• Proficiency with Rippling or a comparable HRIS platform.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing including regular, off-cycle, and bonus payrolls.
• Review inputs for new hires, terminations, changes, deductions, and benefits.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness, resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate payroll reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close with Finance.
• Support benefits administration and open enrollment with internal teams.
