Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Accountant to join the Finance Department supporting the North America Market. The role requires strong analytical skills and a proactive approach within a hybrid work arrangement in Northeast New Jersey.

You will support month-end close for payroll, benefits accounting, and intercompany payroll tasks while partnering with the Payroll team to ensure accurate processing and reporting. This position offers growth in a dynamic, diverse environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in finance or accounting preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and Blackline.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close journal entries for payroll and benefits.
• Collaborate with Payroll team on payroll processing and reporting.
• Prepare manual intercompany payroll invoices and review variance reports.
• Investigate variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate and propose process improvements for accuracy and controls.
