The role involves ensuring compliance with regulations, leading a team, and managing vendor relationships. The Payroll and Benefits Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of payroll processing and employee benefits programs. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while delivering accurate, timely payroll and effective benefits management. The supervisor will lead the payroll staff, coordinate with vendors, and serve as a resource for employees regarding compensation and benefits matters.
This role is also responsible for ensuring and guiding the team to run payroll processing, benefits enrollment and support, manage system integrations, and address employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits. In case of team absence, the incumbent should be able to run and support as a backup. The position plays a key role in supporting HR operations and compliance with state and federal regulations.
The Payroll and Benefits Supervisor position is located at the Hitachi Global Air Power manufacturing facility in Michigan City, Indiana, and reports to the Director of Human Resources.
