Responsibilities

  • Perform payroll processing, timekeeping, and accounting accurately and timely.
  • Review payroll files prior to submission.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Serve as payroll liaison with associates, HR, payroll vendors, and other business partners.
  • Manage payroll-related document distribution (year-end remuneration statements, tax receipts, etc.).
  • Open tickets with IT or payroll vendor portal and track resolution.
  • Provide required payroll reporting to internal departments such as Tax and Stock Administration.
  • Act as point of contact for timekeeping management system.
  • Liaises with Finance on wire transfers and payments.
  • Processes statutory contribution filing and payment; ensure statutory compliance.
  • Participates in Payroll audits and ensures compliance; support SOX controls.
  • Participates in User Acceptance Test (UAT) for payroll/timekeeping improvements.
  • Prepares month-end close journal entries and reconciliations for payroll-related transactions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Basic Job Functions:
  • Performs payroll processing, timekeeping, accounting, and compliance duties.
  • Ensures strict compliance with local statutory requirements, SOX internal controls, & SOA guidelines.
Education/Experience:
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Payroll, Timekeeping, and Accounting.
  • Must be familiar with country labor regulations.
  • Experience with ADP payroll, Oracle timekeeping systems, and SAP Accounting desired.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Perform payroll processing, timekeeping, and accounting in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy.
  • Analyzes and reviews payroll files prior to submission.
  • Assists in the resolution of Payroll related discrepancies.
  • Serves as payroll liaison with stakeholders such as associates, HR, payroll vendors, and other business partners.
  • Manages Payroll-related document distribution (yearend remuneration statements, tax receipts, etc.).
  • Opens tickets with IT or payroll vendor portal and manages ticket completion.
  • Provides required payroll reporting to internal departments such as Tax and Stock Administration.
  • Act as point of contact for timekeeping management system.
  • Liaises with Finance on wire transfers and payments.
  • Processes statutory contribution filing and payment in accordance with statutory timeline and ensures statutory compliance.
  • Participates in Payroll audits and ensures compliance. Ensures SOX Compliance and performs assigned controls in a timely manner.
  • Participates in User Acceptance Test (UAT) for any improvement projects related to payroll and timekeeping.
  • Prepares month-end close journal entries and account reconciliation for payroll-related transactions such as payroll, bonus, vacation, and benefits accruals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • This position will not have direct reports.

Estimated Salary Range:
  • $58,656 - $69,000 / annually
