Salt Lake Valley Emergency Communications Center seeks an Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist to handle biweekly payroll for about 150 employees and daily AP duties. The role reports to the CFO and collaborates with managers, vendors, and HR to keep accurate records.

The ideal candidate will have strong AP experience, payroll processing skills, and proficiency in Paycom and Caselle, with a focus on confidentiality and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable processing and vendor payments.
• Three years of combined education and/or relevant experience.
• Proficiency with accounting and payroll software and MS Office.
• Ability to meet payroll and AP deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll for about 150 employees using Paycom.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor payments, and AP aging.
• Prepare payroll-related reports, W-2s, and year-end filings.
• Resolve timekeeping discrepancies and ensure accurate records.
• Coordinate with HR to reflect personnel actions in payroll.
• Maintain confidential payroll documentation and vendor files.
