Audit & Risk Recruitment Company is supporting a global technology organisation by identifying an experienced IT Auditor (Managerial grade) to join its international Tech Governance team in San Jose, California (USA).

This senior role focuses on IT Audit, IT Compliance and Digital Risk with payments and regulated financial products exposure, offering a truly global scope across US, EMEA and Asia, with 25% travel and an office-first culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in IT Audit, preferably in regulated environments.
• Experience leading complex technology audits across APAC and/or EMEA.
• Experience engaging with regulators around payments or money-transmission activities.
• Strong knowledge of payment regulations and technology control environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technology audit strategies covering payments and regulated products.
• Lead complex technology audits from scoping through executive reporting.
• Provide subject-matter expertise across payment systems, digital wallets and financial infrastructure.
• Assess technology, cybersecurity, operational resilience, data and regulatory risks.
• Engage directly with payment regulators and financial regulators across markets.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to provide credible risk recommendations.
• Shape audit approaches for evolving financial products across jurisdictions.
