Job summary

Google Sunnyvale is seeking a Product Solutions Engineer for the 1P Monetization, Payments Platform team. You will enable payments integrations across Google products by working with key product groups and internal partners.

The role emphasizes delivering technical solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving scalable payment initiatives across geo expansions, with opportunities to automate workflows and improve platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
• 3 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Google's first-party product teams to understand their business objectives and provide consultation on leveraging the Payments Platform for business generation.
• Design, develop, and implement technical solutions to support new product features, geographic expansions, and platform integrations.
• Act as the primary technical expert for partners, providing support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the stability of payment integrations. Drive the launch and rollout of new technical integrations and platform migrations with partners.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, and Business Operations teams to ensure successful project delivery and oversee technical execution. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate insights to internal and partner teams.
• Identify opportunities to optimize and automate workflows, and enhance platform capabilities based on partner needs. Focus on improving system scalability and exploring opportunities to apply AI to enhance team efficiency and platform capabilities.
