The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta invites students to join its Spring and Summer 2027 Internship Program. The position runs January 2027 through August 2027, with 15 hours/week in Spring (Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM EST) and 30 hours/week in Summer (Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM EST). Onsite work is preferred; remote eligibility is possible.

Candidates must be available for background screening and timing adjustments. Selected interns will engage in the FRPS data collection and validation under the Payments Forum in

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student status required.
• Economics focus preferred for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Help recruit depository and financial institutions, major card networks, payments processors, and card issuers for the FRPS.
• Submit and validate data as part of the Payments Study in coordination with the Payments Forum and Board of Governors.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely data collection and analysis for research insights.
