Job summary

The Building Company seeks a Payments Specialist to ensure supplier, operational and ad hoc payments are reviewed, verified, authorised, and processed per policy. You will maintain strong payment controls, mitigate financial risk, and ensure timely compliant payment execution within a shared services environment.

Responsibilities include payment review, authorisation, reconciliations, and driving process improvements across high-volume transactions to support business operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in finance or accounting required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in payments, banking, creditors, or finance operations.
• Experience with banking platforms and payment authorisation controls.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and payment governance.
